I have been here but a short time and I can't help but notice on TBN it seems like a Kubota love fest....what is the deal ?

I mean, I have owned my New Holland TC - 20 for almost 9 yrs. bought it new in 2000 and do my own service and knock wood it has performed flawlessly and it is a real tractor not a lawn mower and yet on TBN it is rarely mentioned.

Can someone clue me in ?

Well I'm very happy with my little blue tractor and wouldn't even consider trading for orange. So if that means I'm in the minority, so be it. ;)

that's cuz the kubota guys aren't on their tractor doing things. prolly waiting for service.:D:D:D Actually just kidding. Their are some pretty good NH guys that contribute.

Just a matter of preference, much like trucks and cars.

Maybe the Orange people post in forums more than green/yellow, blue or red.

Who knows??

One thing I found out over the years is...if whatever YOU own; it's the best. So...if you own a Ford truck, it's the best. If you own a Honda automobile, it's the best. Even if you own a Yugo...it's the best. If you drink Iron City Lite....it's the best.

What IS the best is left up to the reporters and the like in magazines and websites.

Dont see too much orange love on the ford forum, stay away from those freaks on the orange forum!

I see that all of you are relative newcomers, so I'll try to explain.:D:D We're actually not prejudiced agains the other brands . . . well, most of us aren't anyway. I think the real reason for so much about Kubotas is that this website started over 10 years ago, with a different name, as strictly Kubota tractor discussions. There's still a few of us around who remember when we had nothing but Kubotas to talk about. But over the years, the website kept growing and expanding, and gradually grew into what you are accustomed to today. And of course I think we were all glad to see it grow and see discussions about a great deal more than Kubota tractors. I don't remember when I first became a member, but I didn't get my first Internet service until 8/24/1998. At that time I had a B7100 Kubota that I bought new in 1995. Then I traded up to a new 1999 B2710, and discovered this website either before or just after that trade.

I think the number of Kubota posts reflects the fact that Kubota is the No. 1 selling compact and sub-compact tractor. Heck, I love my New Holland, but I just bought a used Kubota diesel lawn mower to fix up and use around my place. I'll probably end up posting (bragging?) about it in the Kubota forums.:)

I love it when people love the machinery they have and use. If the Kubota guys and gals are happy, then why should it bother any of us. Many times even when somebody says their tractor is better than another one, that just means their tractor is the best for them. That makes TBN a happy place.;)

I guess the old saying "Nobody ever had an ugly baby" pretty well covers it, eh?

I think we all like well built machines and I think Kubotas are well built. I also like the other colors but I bought orange so thats what I talk about. Unless I talk about my old red tractor and it was a real jewel a early 1960's IH424 want to see a pic I really liked my old red tractor. I will also show off my orange tractors too.
