question what tractor to use.

Hi. I have a bolens 1050 and I have a jacobsen thats slightly biger both have 10hp motors and have tubed frames I would like to build a fel on one of them. any suggestions thank you.

Either one ( I like Bolens though...) but you'll want to beef up the front axle no matter which you choose.

Sell both and buy a large frame IH, Bolens, JD, Simplicity, Wheel Horse, ect. With 20 plus hp the loader will be functional and still have power to move the tractor. I'm using a 4110 JD with four wheel drive for my loader project. Good luck with what you decide.
