Question on Prince PTO Pump

Can you mount a Prince pump upside down without it harming the operation.
See pic below. Right side up will not fit under my PTO shield. Anyone ever done this and still alive?

It doesn't matter. It can be mounted in any orientation. There is no right side up or upside down.

I put one on my JD 4100. It fit a lot better upside down.

My main issue was clearance for the hose connections.
