It's been a bit of a pain to connect and disconnect the BH due to where the hoses and connectors are located and their angles. I read on one of these threads that someone had added some short hose extensions to the machine end. Looked this morning and it seems simple enough to break the quick connectors, add a hose and put the connects back on those new ends.

But I'm not that up on hydraulics yet. Do I need to flood the new hoses first? Or will the system fill the dry hoses and self purge any air? If so, I'd just check the fluid level and add more if needed?

No purge neede. Prob no fluid even need unless your adding 100ft of extension.
