Anyone using this machine for finish and rotary mowing, FEL work with the 14LA FEL, rear blade and tiller work? What are your experiences and thoughts on this machine, both positive and negative? Any recommendations for add ons or suggestions? How are the R4 tires for finish mowing on this tractor? I have 12 acers to keep up. Price? Power?

Thanks!

Tim

Hi Tim my wife and I just purchased a tc33da. I did not want to buy too small or too big of a tractor. we have 18 acr of wooded land. I have 35 hrs on my tractor, and in that time have done much clearing of land, stump removel, gradeing with the box scrapper. my loader works great. just yesterday I dug in a water line for the house we are building. 10 ft deep and 95 ft of trench. (rented backhoe) and when it came time to back fill all that sand my tc33da made short work of it. I love my 33 and i know i bought rite. we have a small lawn at this point and so we mow buy hand. I am sure at some point ill have to get mower for our 33. The 33 set up with the r4 tires 4 wheel drive and hst makes one very nice tractor. good luck and I know you would be very happy with the tc33da.

Tim,

I have the TC29D. I use it for tilling, yard work, and FEL. I love it and the only second guess I would have after owning it for a year is I wished I would have gone to the 33. Oh don't get me wrong I don't lose power except for when mowing up my steep hills. And really at first I had no problems even with that until I bought the hi-lift gator blades. The gator blades to suck a little bit more horsepower with all the air that they move plus they typically run the grass through a couple of times. Also I do have the 72" deck. But I love it and feel it is most versatile because I can do the heavy stuff with it along with finish mowing. I have a 5ft tiller for it and the tractor doesn't even know it is back there.

Just for reference I just priced a TC33DA w/supetsteer with a 15LA loader w/HD bucket and toothbar and a 5' Bushhog brand SQ600 rotary cutter for $19,975 + tax.

Great little machine. My brother owns one and I've used it a good bit. Really love it! Let's see. Cultivated two acres of corn this Saturday. No problem. Rotary cut a rather rough 12 acre field After that which is VERY hilly. No problem. Pulled a 5,500 lb spreader around a plowed 3 acre field last fall. No problem. And it is equipped with R4's. Get it. You'll love it.

I live in the Northern part of Georgia. I have two places, one just on the north side of Atlanta (6 acres) and another place in the north Georgia mountains (10+ acres). I owned a JD for many years and thought they didn't any other real tractors unless they were green but they priced themselves out of the market for me.
