I have the wicked root grapple for my B2650 but prefer my pallet fork grapple for picking up limbs and piles of limbs since the forks slide along the ground and you can "roll" small piles of limbs as you move forward into a ball, then grapple shut to move to my burn pile. For me picking up multiple limbs It is much more efficient with my pallet fork grapple than the wicked root grapple. My problem is that my pallet fork grapple weighs 650 pounds which is ok for my 9,000 pound tractor but it is way too heavy for my B2650.
Does anyone make a small pallet fork grapple that weighs LESS than 400 pounds? Closer to 250-300 pounds for small tractors would be best. Thanks......

Check out the link below. Not sure if you are looking for a single grapple or a full width one. It doesn't state the weight on this but it doesn't look that heavy. I just found it today as I am also concidering either a pallet fork grapple or a bucket grapple. My main use for the grapple would be cleaning branches as you describe and lifting and moving logs for firewood. I understand about the forks sliding along the ground and under the branches easier but don't the smaller branches fall between the forks. I am asking so it may help make my decision easier.

Branches as short as 3 feet can be picked up with a pallet fork grapple and as you drive up to additional branches you slide the forks underneath, drive froward, and the collected branches slide to the rear. Then you can smash the collected branches with the grapple and move on to the next branch. I find the pallet fork grapple much better to pick up multiple branches than my regular grapple. I just need to find a light one for my B2650. The one I have for my large tractor weighs too much.
