Question for other owners of LS tractors

/ Question for other owners of LS tractors #21
this sounds like new tractor emission madness.
Am reminded of early 70's when new emissions kicked in and engines while cleaner became less reliable and sure made less power.
Today they don't give up the power, but gosh seems to be a lot of negative press about modern emission systems. Almost makes Blue Def seem
like an easy solution.
I went to look up OP's engine maker and no listing of that model. ?
Who makes your engine? Just curious.

The model is a Tier 4, 3 cylinder, CRDI, water cooled turbo-diesel, 115ci. The model number is: L3C19-T

I'm assuming the manufacturer is LS. They also make New Holland, Kioti, and the smaller compact Case tractors.

In the latest development, they changed the EGR valve and put it back on the dyno. It's still only putting out 16hp out of it's rated 35hp.

They're gonna get back with LS next week and try to figure out what the problem is. It's starting to look like it may simply be a case of my getting one of the rare bad motors and it will ultimately have to be replaced. I'm very grateful that, if it had to happen, it happened while it's still under the 5 yr powertrain warranty.

SUCCESS!
They've finally figured it out. It turns out the cause of the whole thing wasn't the turbo, it wasn't the EGR valve, it wasn't a fuel filter problem. It was (drumroll please) the ECM. The brain that controls everything apparently had a nervous breakdown. They tried plugging in main chip from a similar tractor and everything worked just fine. They're having a new chip programmed and sent to the dealer. It should be installed, tested and ready to go early next week.

What kind of a code where are you getting? I'm having a fuel water code and now they're having me replace the EGR…? Does this sound familiar?
