Question for Jon DePratt

Jon,

You have said in the past that the older LK3054s should run a backhoe attachment with a PTO pump do to the lower volume of the tractor’s pump. I’m wondering that if I have to buy a pump anyway, can the newer pumps fit onto an older (’99 or 2000) tractor? The next question of course would be, how hard are the main pumps to get to and replace.

From looking in the parts books the new style does interchange with the older LK3054 tractors. The hyd pump is really easy to get to and easy to change. Not much to it really. Let me know if you have any other questions.
