Dealer Question for a dealer?

I'm looking at trying to work on a trade in with a local dealer.I have a 2000 JD790 with the JD70 loader, mid pto,4wheel,turf tires, not a single scratch and only 51hrs. and have no idea what a fair price would be.Not only that but it seems that the JD resale value everyone talks about doesn't pertain to trade ins.What price is fair?I only want to move up in size to a 990 with a loader.

I would guess that your wholesale value of the tractor package should be somewhere in the 11K-11.5K range. Make sure the selling dealer discounts the new 990 also.

How much did the dealer offer you? I curious because I just bought a 790.
