Question about using box blade to cut ditch

In the ETA video, the guy is tilting the box blade by shortening or lengthening one of the two lower links. My tractor has the fixed length lower links. Is there something I'm missing or is there a special link out there?

What tractor do you have? I'm certainly no expert, but I think most tractors have at least one adjustable lower link -- mine is on the right side.

Some also have to be disconnected from the draft arm to change the length, top half of the lift link is threaded into the lower yoke.

I also watched the video and while I'm still awaitingreceipt of my BB, I wondered if there would ever be any benefit to having both lower links adjustable?

For instance, if both had turnbuckles, you could shorten one and lengthen the other to really torque tthe blade angle angle and I wondered if that could be useful for ditching or cutting into a bank....

Any thoughts?

I won't have it until later this week, but it is a Kubota L3200.

It seems to me that the larger the tractor, the more likely both links are adjustable. Probably more to help attach heavy implements than to tilt an implement farther.

It is handy to be able to tilt the box blade -- I tilt mine to get the crown I need on our access drive which is very steep.

It certainly would not hurt anything and you would get alot more angle. Could be useful in some special situations.

I also tilt my BB when I'm grading, although for more agressive ditching I use a rear blade. Just recently I changed to a hydraulic adjustable side link so now I can make adjustments from my tractor seat.
