As some probably saw, I recently bought a Dearborn disc plow, and I have a question about the offset link for the 3 pt hitch. On the plow I have, the offset is on the left side of the plow when looking at the plow from the back, however, the manual for the plow shows it on the right side of the plow in all the pictures. Whitch way is right? It seems to me that since the right tractor tire is in the furrow when plowing, and you want the plow more level in that position, the offset or drop should be on the opposite side of the plow, away from the furrow like it is now, but again, all the pictures in the original manual show it on the right. I have attached a couple of pics to illustrate what I'm talking about. The first piture shows the way my plow is set up. The drop link is in the foreground on the left side of the plow. The second picture shows how the plow is shown in the manual, labeled as "right lower link". Thanks for any input.

If you are sitting on the tractor .The off set will go on the right .If it is not it won't plow right . some one has put it on wrong when it was panted.

That draw bar on yours came off a moldboard plow . It is not the one that came on it . But it will work just as good. When they put it on , They just turn it wrong.
