***Question about older Scag***

I just purchased a older scag 61inch walk behind mower with a 18 briggs motor on it..My question is?? I never seen a tranny like this before, It is alot different then a peerless style tranny..It almost looks like a tranny you see on a riding mower..Can anyone give me some info about this machine?? Reliability? Year? is there any resale value to it?? The machine is in excellent shape, I just rebuilt it completely..I'm just wondering if I wasted my time and money doing it if it doesnt have any resale value...

Do you have any model or serial numbers on it?

The Model and Serial number on the motor deck is SW-18B---0695 and the blade deck number is SM-61---3108.. any information on the machine would be greatly appreciated, also, do they still make manuals for this machine??
