Tractor
JD 110 TLB
This is not meant to be a tractor bashing thread, but rather a solicitation for honest opinions.

Brief history.

I have a JD 110 TLB. 150hrs, no weight in the back tires. So far I have bent both main loader cylinders, one at a time. (JD has warrantied, no questions asked)

So my question is to everyone, Looking at the series of pictures of this one particular stump, do I just need to sell this thing before I totally break it & buy heavier equipment, or is this in the realm of what a tractor of this size is capable of?

This pic is showing the angle of attack on the stump. BTW the grapple is a 5' HD addington.

Now the tricky part..

If I curl the stump under the loader arms, pick it up as high as I can, then curl the grapple back up. I can get it to approx 7 1/2'. This is what I think is bending the loader cylinders... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif This is also at the limit of stability (fore & aft).

Now the no weight in the back tires bit.. I had my original tires foam filled, but traded them to another 110 owner because I thought that the extra weight was allowing me to be more comfortable with excessive loads on the loader. Thus starting to break stuff..

JD doesn't recommend ballasting the tractor with anything when 'da hoe is on.

My bucket curl will curl almost 5,000 pounds and my arms will lift almost 3,500 pounds, I have a Case 1845C skid steer. You have a serious grapple and a even more serious stump, that lots of weight. Others will chime in with more knowledge than I have shared with you
