I'm curious more then anything, but when I need to release the parking brake on my TC35, I have to actually push the release lever all the way down after it releases the brakes, i.e. the spring does not pull it down by itself after releasing. Is that common to all, or just something I need to work on. All the pivot points seem to be free of bind and I've lubed everything. Seems like maybe the spring just isn't tough enough.

It comes and goes on mine. I don't think you have a spring on that linkage. It's only gravity. I disassembled all the linkage once to clean and lube it. After that, it worked very well for two years and then started binding again. It seems to bind for awhile and then loosen all by itself. Your problem is quite common, but not all that serious. If you are mechanically inclined, you can easily remove the linkage and get it freed up. Everything is right out in the open under the operator's platform.

I don't know if this helps, but I've learned to just kick mine forward as I get on board. That way I'm sure my brakes are off.

Thanks very much for the replies. I might try and install a spring to put some tension on it and see how that works. I thought there was a spring under there, but it must have been something else I was looking at.
