Had to share. Went over 250,000 miles on my 96 Powerstroke. Except for the darn CPS and one injector it was pretty smooth. Heres how it's set up:

June 1996 F250HD XLT/SC, LWB, 4x4, 4:10LS, E4OD, White outside, Gray inside, Camper/Tow pack, Factory Aluminum wheels, Factory rear slider, decal free.
Factory AIC, Aux dash switches, Full add-a-leaf, Mile Marker SS Hubs, Upgraded E4OD Tranny, Tymar intake, BD downpipe, Exhaust brake, 203* stat, BriteBox, California Regulator mod, Truck Interiors Winterfront, Ported bug guard, Energy Suspension bushings rolling on 265x75 Bridgestone Revo's.

and pics...96 mods

Nice truck! Here's to another quarter mil. I recently sold a 1997 identical to yours - except for the engine (gas 7.5L w/108k original). I'll replace it with a reg. cab F250/350 w/ diesel, if I ever find an nice, unmolested one.

It makes a man feel good to have a dependable and long lasting truck. Hope you reach the 1/2 Mil mark.:)

Thanks, when my daughter was in 4H (10 years and a couple of years barrel racing) it had a stock trailer on the back more than it was off. It's been a good vehicle. Although when I got in to it this afternoon, I couldn't get the seatbelt to latch. The button broke.Talk about timing...According to Ford the seatbelts are obsolete and I can't find any in the local wrecking yards.

Check the internet and EBAY for the seat belts.

My B.I.L. truck is sitting on just about 360K right now. Ive put several sets of glowplugs in it, along with GP relays, IDM, rebuilt the fuel filter base and pressure regulator..
Jsut had to put ball joints in the front end, along with another set of brakes.
All in all, for what the truck has been put thru, it still runs good and pulls his TT on the weekends..
It could stand a set of injectors and an HPOP now, but we just dump 2 stroke oil in the fuel it keep the injectors from hanging up..

wow, 360k. These engines do seem to run for ever. I put a can of Sea Foam in the tanks every 6k. The injector I replaced was due to water. All in all I've done both ball joints, a steering box, steering pump and water pump and a couple three CPS's. I'm on my third set of front pads and the original rear shoes but they're just about ready to be replaced. The body is holding up really well. I can't find any rust on it and except for a little spot under the right headlight, the paint is great.
I've been really happy with it.
