Quaker State synthetic oil

My local Menards is selling QS "Advanced engine full synthetic" for $3.89. I normally use Mobil 1 in my car. Is this stuff any good?

Stick with the Mobil 1, QS is a 'Johnny come lately' when it comes to synthetic oil.

I saw 5 qt. jugs of Quacker state and Pennzoil synthetic at Wal Mart for $18.95. either one sound like a good buy to me. check out Bob Is The Oil Guy: Bob Is The Oil Guy for more oil info.

They've never gotten here with the other oil either.

It has to be better than dino oil. I just bought 5 Qts at wal mart for $18.97 and Quaker state offers a $15 mail in rebate. That will be $1.11 a quart with tax after rebate.

I haven't needed to or wanted to check out QS synthetic . Is it a group 4 synthetic ? I know mobil is a group 4 . is QS just another hydrocracked oil ? $ 3.89 a quart for a group 4 synthetic is cheap .As with most things,When it comes to oil , you usually get what you pay for .
