I just put a loader on my 4300. It is almost more fun than the law should allow. I had bought the tractor used, it had a MX5 mower and front weights, 2wd, and sync-shift tranny. I got the 420 loader, didn't think that with 2wd the extra capacity of the 430 would buy me much. Also the sync-shift tranny works pretty good. First and reverse are directly in line with each other, its almost as good as power reverser. I spent the weekend spreading slag for my driveway, what fun! Yes, 4wd and a hydrostat would be better, but the cost differnential between trading what I had in, vs putting on the loader and SCV, was too much right now. Maybe later.
On the down side, the day they brought the tractor home, I discovered that during the night, some @##$ had stolen my gator and 16' trailer. Cut the chains and off they went. Watch your stuff.....
