Purchasing new HSTCC. L4060 or L4760?

Hello Everyone, I've been reading the forum for a while but haven't posted until now. I currently own an L3240 which I purchased used recently. While the L3240 is a nice little tractor I'm finding it a bit underpowered for the Kubota 2674 blower it came with. I'm also done with eating snow after this winter. Where I plan on this tractor lasting me a long time I don't want to make a mistake. I have two properties one just a couple of acres where the machine will be used for grading and some backfilling and our main property which is 4 acres and blessed with an 800 foot long gravel driveway where the machine will be used for gravel maintenance and snow removal primarily. I have a number of neighbours who would also most likely contract me to do snow removal if I have equipment that will move snow efficiently. My question is will the L4060 HSTCC be a good machine for snow work with the 2674 Kubota blower or should I spend the extra $6000 for the L4760? THank you for any advice you can provide.

The L4060 has 42 hp with 32.5 at the pto ( for the hydro ). I would think that would run a 74" blower just fine. $6,000 is a lot of dough, certainly more than enough to pay for a quality 3 pt blower with some money left over. I'm interested in the responses you get as I'm in a similar decision mode except considering the L3560 vs the L4060. I haven't seen too many snow blowing reviews on the newer Grand L 60 series.

I think the general requirement is five PTO Hp for every foot of width for a snowblower.

Thanks for the responses! The salesperson managed to get me into a brand new L5460 for $5600 more than the L4060 so I took it. Should be delivered this week!! I'm pretty excited, I think the 5460 should make that snowblowing work quick and easy.

Sorry I'm a bit late but I run the LA2674 behind my L3540 for the last three years and couldn't be any happier with it.Living up here in upstate NY around West Charlton area. We have open fields of cut corn, lots of snow and wind that drifts heavy snow along with the NYS big yellow plows that plow my state road,along with dumping lots of snow onto end of driveway, the 3540 makes short work of the heavy snows.
