<<I was wondering how well the BX24 loader and backhoe work. >><snip
I have a BX 23 which is about the same weight and HP. I do not have a tooth bar because I do a fair amount of back blade work. The backhoe will dig hard rocky soil. To move heavy dirt with the fel, a light-weight tractor works better in 4-wheel drive. I've had better luck breaking up the hard soil with the backhoe, then turning around and scooping the loose soil with the fel. No it will not dig like a 20,000 lb. commerical backhoe, but it will fit places you will never get a commerical backhoe. Just at 300 hours in almost 2 years and have only done normal service on my machine. I just don't know how I got along without it. Richard
