hi all
i have a question regarding best time to purchase a tractor? i am seriously considering the 7010 is it better to purchase now with rebate or buy after first of the year as a left over will the price drop 01/01/07? i am also considering the montana version of the same tractor and will ask same question there thanks for any input.......

You want to have your dealer stay in business and service you so he has to make a profit. The rebates now available are given by Mahindra. if there is any discounted price for a left over that would come out of your dealers pocket. Buy now and let you dealer make a profit on the tractor. That will help insure he will be there when you need him.

Another thing to consider is financing rates. They're going nowhere but up. Also how many more of this model tractor is TYM making and how many are left in the Mahindra/Montana pipeline? Not probable, but possible this tractor won't be available before too much longer. One would assume it will be replaced by the next TYM, but you never know. As for best time to buy generally speaking they sell less tractors in the winter months.
