I should have left it without taxes.

In this case the totals would be
TC 33D 17940.99
TC 35D 19878.09

Sorry for the confusion. The implements set me back only about 2200.00

Oh yeah, forgot about the taxes. Considering that, I'd have to say, from what I saw when buying my TC35, which was a non-D model, 16LA, and a 72" Box Blade paying $17,100, I would jump on that deal. The dealer pretty much showed me his pricing scheme, which was to take the 'dealer cost' and add $1000 for profit and that was what I paid. The only other thing would be if the conversion factor you are using for Canadian to US dollars is correct, which I assume you know. If it is, I would say it is an excellent deal.

Conversion rate is something we need to keep an eye on up here, now if you guys could just go out an buy a whole bunch of Canadian dollars in the next couple of weeks, I may be able to shave some more money off of this thing.

Thanks for all the input and help. Of course whatever we decide it won't get here until APRIL!!!!

Bob,

Yikes.../w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif... you have HIGH SALES TAXES...!

I'd move.../w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

After looking at your requirements, I'd go no less than the TC35 or even a TC40...

I've said it many times before... the difference of a few thousand dollars more on day one for the tractor of "your lifetime" spread out over many years is miniscule...

You've got one chance to get this right... I feel the TC33 would be too small for your intended immediate and future needs...

I'd definitely go for the TC35D. The base tractor is only $1,635 more than the 33D, but you get a lot more tractor and loader. I'd also shop around for, or deal for, better prices on the implements.

Not only would I go with the TC35D, but also get dual or triple remote hydraulic valves on the rear. Jobs like running a wood splitter, adjustable toplink and tilt links and many others will come up over the life of your tractor and you will be ready. I got only one when I purchased my tractor, and I wish I had all three. ...just a suggestion.

You are talking about getting the "D" model no matter what aren't you? John's last post is of a non-D so I'm a little confused. Also, tha price differential seems a little high as I recall when I bought 40D. I'd get the implement price out of the equation and see what it comes down to. I thought there was about a $300 difference between a 30D and a 33D and another $300-$400 between the 33D and 35D. Do some calling around. That will at least put you in the ballpark. You can always add the implements back once you know where you're starting from. Some guys have gotten really good prices on complete packages so I wouldn't completely rule it out. What did you decide on tires? R1, R4??? Have fun.

Duane thanks for the post. Definitely will be a D regardless.

If I take out all the implements and the cash discounts from the equation the prices come out to
35D - $16340.00
33D - $15619.00

or a $700.00 difference. The dealer is giving me the following cash discounts

35D - $3752.00
33D - $4015.00

Another 300.00 diffence. Add the implements which most are a little higher than the for the 33D (60" versus 72"). 16LA vs 7308 etc.

Overall price difference is $2054.02 for the 35D.

My wife and I are seriously leaning on the 35D. Considering that another dealer wanted to sell me a used 35D with 150hrs for 17156.25 compare tothis new one for 17652.00

We decided on R4s
