Purchase experience with Barlow Equipment

All depends on the rules in your State...

Some States expect you to settle up at income tax time... other states have no sales tax and others exempt AG equipment...

What is the trade in process like? They can quote you a price baed on what you tell them, but they won't know the actual condition until they see it in person..?

I've traded several to them with them never seeing my trade in until after my new one is off the truck and Marvin or Steve loads my trade in with never an issue or question. Gary complains because my trade ins are usually pretty dirty since he is the one that usually cleans them up.

Tell the truth about your trade ins condition and there should be no problem.

Absolutely. Plus Steve Barlow is a straight up man and he expects everyone else to be the same. He ships tractors across the country with no money in hand for which I've told him he's crazy to do that without at least enough to cover his transportation costs. He's still in business and doing well enough to satisfy him which I guess makes it OK.

I received a tractor from Barlow's a few weeks OK. I was also surprised they didn't take any money in hand prior to shipping the tractor! Great experience and would highly recommend.

Good to know. I've been eyeing a shiny new B2650! Maybe I'll give them a call.....

I am in CT also, my B is coming from Barlow this weekend. So far they have been a pleasure to work with...I will let you know how it goes.

Took delivery of a BX25 from Barlow's a week ago today; the whole process was pretty simple, and I was certainly more anxious about the process then they were. Was a little less than two weeks from order to delivery.

I'm sure they are pretty busy; I found out the tractor was being delivered Friday when I emailed Brady on Thursday. Luckily I didn't have any plans that evening.

They are very happy to answer any and all questions, and they answer them quickly, but perhaps not as proactive about keeping you in the loop about what's going on. That being said, Marvin was great, all is good and just waiting for the snow to melt so I can get some stuff done around here. Good luck!

Well my experience are should I say lack of experience. About a month ago I filled out a build a package deal. I recieved a response that they recieved my questioner. That was the only response that I got from them. So I went with my local dealer who I have a good relation with.
