Amen higgy! I'm an anti-Walmart guy big time. Evil! They almost put the Vlasic pickle people out of business just being Walmart for crying out loud! I always try to buy from a local smaller store if I can. I don't mind paying more either.

Around here they've put so many people out of business, now they are opening these Walmart markets where they are going after the smaller country stores and markets.

We're starting to see those WalMArt "Neighborhood Markets" in this area too. I'm all for free markets. I'm all for "may the best man win". But who's the winner? And more importantly, who's the LOOSER when all the little guys get ran out of business?

That's (another one of the thousands of reasons) why I like little rural towns that are too small to support a Walmart.

Walmart is a familiar sight for people who would otherwise be afraid to live in the country. After Sprawlmart goes in, then all the developments come.

Are y'all joking about South Dakota? Isnt SD the reason our diesels come with a plug to keep it warm?

About the last part of MD that is left is the Eastern Shore. I was just over there on my boat a couple weeks ago for a crab festival. Really nice folks and a LOT of farmland.

If your thinking NC you better move fast, it is getting so built up so fast.

Eastern shore is nice, but I gotta head west.

It can't be as bad as the DC Metro, Waldorf area.I hope.
