Well, here's hoping that someone can weld up a decent one!!! I just finished a welding class since I had never even been around welding before!! For my class project I built the hitch based on the "blueprint" Bad River has posted on their website. The hitch is currently waiting for it's second coat of paint. Sure hope it holds for this rookie welder /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif!!

When I first saw the hitch link I thought "I could make one
of those...". But I was busy and didn't have time so I just
bought one. If I had made it I probably would have used
1/4" tube and flat, and I would have missed the whole point
of the chain stay from looking at that blueprint. When I
got the hitch in I was glad I bought. This thing is massive...
everything is at least 3/8" stock.

All I have is a small gas welder. So my first tractor welding
project will be the concrete weight box. There all I need to
do is weld it good enough so it doesn't fall off the back of
the tractor!
