Pulled the trigger on a CK30 today! Boy Howdy!!!

I decided on the Kioti 72" RMM, FEL, R4 tires and Kioti 72" Rake. My question is this: Has anyone measured the overall length from front of bucket to tail of the 72" rear mower? I've got 18' in my garage to work with. I did get the mid-folding ROPS (dealer just happened to have one on another CK30 and offered to switch it out for me). The FEL was already installed on mine. BTW, before we spotted the new version ROPS on another section of his lot, the dealer called Kioti and was told that the mid-folding ROPS wasn't even available! Funny, there was one right in front of us! Go figure! Guess they must have a pot-load of the older style ROPS to get rid of. In any event, thanks for the wealth of info on this forum. I had pretty much narrowed my choice down to the two orange machines and you validated my final decision to hop on the CK30! Delivery on Friday and all weekend to wring it out, in a "breakin" kinda way. The Kioti implements look to be of top quality, if not a tad more expensive than some other choices. I just couldn't have orange, yellow and red in one unit. Too much like a gigantic fire! Sorry for the rambling post, but what the hey, it's my first. I'll try to tighten it up next time! The bad news is I don't think they will fit in the 18' you say you have. I don't have the unit you do, but I had 20' to work with and it just fit. I have the LB1914 and a 60" mower. which sticks out the back about 7'. Your tractor is 4" longer then mine without the mower. Congratulations Ace! Did you get yours from Ron Caldwell? I've never met him, but I used to look at his website a lot when I was looking for a tractor. He's a relative newcomer to Kioti.
I helped to install a Kioti RFM last week. It IS a well made mower, and sure looks great. Really nice paint job. It's Italian, and they seem to really make good implements.
I don't mind the full folding ROPS myself. My dealer has both on his lot and I looked them over today. I have a full folding on my CK20 but I put a pin in the bottom hole so it doesn't go all the way down. With the backhoe on, it would land on the BH controls.
I know you're going to really enjoy working that tractor. Don't forget, we never tire of pictures of the same tractors. Action shots preferred! John

Thanks, and yes, I bought the new CK30 from Ron Caldwell, Caldwell Tractor He's got several units in stock and is very fair and down to earth to work with. Not a "salesman" type. Just a "good 'ole boy", as we like to say down here! His whole family works with him at the dealership. Really nice folks. I'll post some photos after delivery on Friday.
