2015 Kubota M7060
Well wife and I pulled the trigger on upgrading to a new M7060. We had a nice B3200 but it just wasn't big enough, and I was very tired of mowing in summertime heat with an open cab. So, a few phone calls and a bit of haggling on my end I feel very pleased with the deal we got. Sold my B3200 for a very decent price and with Kubota's 0% financing I couldn't go wrong.

I optioned up a bit
12 speed trans
Front end loader with the big 84" bucket, with ride control and auto level
2 remotes out back
Cast wheels with weights

So far I've owned it for about 24 hrs, spent most of yesterday getting it home, so didn't get to play with it till today. HOLY F**K what a difference! WOW! So comfortable and the controls are amazing. The 3200 was a great machine but **** this is light years ahead! I can't wait till mowing season lol. I should get to drag the disc a bit in a couple days but its not even going to notice a little 5' disc.........

I put an alpine stereo in it today, very pleased to see that even though I didn't cough up the cash for the factory installed stereo the cab already had speakers installed and was completely pre wired for stereo, including antenna. Simple install, though anyone in the market may want to order the proper wiring harness, I cut the connector off and wired it in myself. Didn't want to drive 45 miles to get harness (if it was in stock)

Tractor ****!

You did real good with the options!

I got everything you did except ride control and a cab on my M9540.

Having operated several tractors with factory radio I think going aftermarket there was actually a better idea.

Good luck and happy tractoring.

Congratulations!!
I think you'll like the 12 speed trans. I wish my M7040 had that feature & ride control. So far my '11 M7040 has 1255(trouble free) hrs put on it mostly moving rd bales & cutting hay. The engine uses right around 2 GPH of fuel pulling a 9' disc mower.

Looks like someone was a VERY GOOD BOY this year.

Congratulation on your new tractor, the new 60 Series is a real improvement over the 40 Series especially in that size with the 12/12 option.

You are going to love the cab in winter and summer.

That's quite an upgrade from a little B, like going from high school ball straight to the NFL

12x12 with integrated park is nice, pollution garbage is not.

No argument there, I traded my perfectly good L5030HSTC with only 1400 hours in on a new L5740HSTC to avoid that mess. We bought our M8540HDC about four years ago, so we'll probably never have to buy a full Tier IV machine.

Thanks guys! Yes this is a huge jump from my B3200 but I am kinda of the thinking buy it right and buy it once. Last thing I wanted to do was save 5k or so on a 40K tractor and out grow it in 4 years. Plus, I'm trying to get more contract work locally, discing and mowing for local hobby farms and property owners so I wanted to have enough power and capability to use some decent sized implements without going crazy. Trying to fill that gap between the guys that have little B series size tractors and full blown AG tractors dragging a 16ft disc.............
And be clean and comfortable while doing it!

Yeah less than thrilled about the EGR and DPF systems. Once its out of warranty I'll check into ways around it. Its easy to do on pickup trucks so I'm sure its possible on this thing. Honestly its the EGR I'm most interested in bypassing. Nothing good comes from a diesel engine having EGR. All bad. I'd be willing to leave the DPF if I eliminated the EGR.......at least it doesn't have DEF.

Congrats. Super nice tractor. Let us no how the loader ride and self leveling systems work.

So far they are great. Ride control really smooths out the bucking when traveling on rough surfaces. The Auto Level is great for lifting stuff in the bucket. When I get the pallet fork attachment I'm sure it will really shine!
My only gripe would be that I would have much preferred these options be controlled on the switch panel. The Ride control has a valve with a knob on the right side of the tractor right by the FEL mount. To activate or deactivate the ride control you have to physically dismount the tractor. The auto leveling has 3 modes, inactive, active up and down, and active down (I think). Its controlled by a lever at the base of the joystick mount. Again I would have much preferred these be controlled by a rocker switch on panel like the bigger equipment.
As for the ride control dealer said most guys turn it on and leave it on. I dunno. Time will tell. I can say with it on I can't lift the front tires off the ground. I plan to turn it off and see it that makes the difference. With my B3200 that's how I loaded it on my little trailer, lifted the front end and slid the bucket on the deck till the tires were on the trailer then climbed on. Lucky my big tex has some nice ramps so that wont be necessary, but if your spreading rock or dirt you might need that down pressure.......

Looks like a nice tractor.

I looked at a M7060 a couple days ago and am seriously thinking about getting it. I was quoted price for 8 speed but was shown a 12 speed. Looks like the 12 speed upgrade is worth it. I have a 9540 with 700 hours that has been flawless. I cut my own hay, so this new tractor would help with that plus spread out the hours on two machines for all other work.

if you dont like the tier 4 motor you shouldve bought a used 7040.i traded for a new 7040 to avoid the teir 4 stuff.if i get another tractor itll mostly be a teir 4 unless i can get a good deal on a used 40.

I have 377 hours on my 7060, smooth machine, I'd prefer to not have the egr but it is what it is

I had a M7060 for a year now. Good good machine. The regens happen more often then I would like, but its because of the way I use it. If you didn't get the air seat, I suggest you go ahead and change to it. I didn't at first as the salesman actually talked me out of it, but with the wheel vibration of a 3 point bush hog, the air seat really helps to minimize it.
