Pull behind finishing decks(Self powered)-what is the best brand

I am about to purchase 6 acres in S. La (Lafayette, La area) and it has a well manecured slope of finished grass, a pond 3/4 acre) and spotches of pecan and water oak trees, and a finished grass 1 acre horse pasture fenced and 3 buildings.

I've never mowed this much space before but have a 26", 22hp Craftsman rider mower (double cut) w/ towable leaf sweeper - it is pretty fast.

I was thinking about buying a towable finishing deck that is self powered and have been researching several brands. I could also pull this with a 4 wheeler or mule type vehicle.

-any brand recommendations and where to buy would be a lot of help -

I'm no expert on mowing... BUT, for the money you're about to lay out I can tell you, I bought a 54" cut 26 hp Husqvarna from Northern last year for $2100. That baby would lay down some grass with no effort. And it has more than enough power to serve as an excellent lawn tractor as well.

Personally, I'm not high on ZTR's. But they do seem to be the way people are going these days for straight grass cutting. IF you're set on a ZTR though I can tell you my good friend cuts 5 acres of finished lawn in 3 hours, every two weeks with his Dixie Chopper.
