pto won't engage

Hi hope this is the right place for this question. Baled hay last year no problem. This year went out to bale and pto won't engage. I have a Case IH JX80U. Electric pto. Connections look good. All fuses look good. disconnected connector near pto and tested voltage didn't seem to have any. wires looked ok. Any suggestions?

Although I don't anything like yours, I would go backwards from the PTO connector that you tested and it 'didn't seem to have any' power. Look at the switch and the wires between there and the PTO.

Thanks for the reply. What i thought was the pto connector was actually the speed sensor for the pto. i found the actuator solenoid and it is broken just hanging there with oil dripping off it. Now I need to figure out what to get and replace the defective parts.
