PTO type question

I know what "independent PTO" is. But what is the difference between "live" as on NH TC33 and "live continuous" as on Kubota L3400?? From the description I have heard, Live continuous sounds just like independent. How are they engaged?? If anyone can give me the whole lecture on PTO types, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

that was a good site David posted, but one thing they said was back wards on the live PTO: you engauge the PTO shaft usually first then the transmittion, they wrote it backwards probably just an accident.
