PTO trouble please help!

I have a 02 Kubota BX2200 and when I try to change the pto selection with the lever from rear pto to mid pto I can't get the lever to fully engage it feels like it goes in but when I turn on the pto it is like the selector lever wasn't fully engaged and the mid pto seems to try a little but then it is like it in neutral or something . has anyone had a problem with the pto selection lever on the BX2200? I have the shop manual but no troubleshooting available can any body reccommend an idea? Thanks!

I'm not familar with that model but it sounds like it just needs adjusted.
