Mowing PTO sluggish

My pto is slow to get up to speed and periodically slows to a halt. If I raise the mower, it will eventually start to rotate again, but does not resistance such as mowing tall grass. I found my fluid a bit low, bit it is now at level.

Knowing what machine you have would be helpful but your pro clutch is likely toast.
