Does anyone know where I can find a 2 plate slip clutch, 5" in diameter with a standard 1 3/8-6 spline? Either m/f shaft or f/ yoke. Thanks.

Thanks Jerry, but no luck. I have exhausted about every tractor parts supplier I could find . They all seem to carry the same parts. All too big. The smallest I've found was 6" and it just won't fit in my space. I may have to get out the welder and make it direct drive!

Smallest diameter slip clutch I know of is the Walterscheid radial pin clutch. We used them on each row unit on our Gleaner corn heads, but they normally are fit in drivelines that need smaller diameter and less maintenance than friction disk clutches although they do ratchet rather giving pulsating torque at slip rather than a peak torque at slip followed by lower torque once the friction disks change from static to dynamic friction. I just want to thank everyone and let you know I fixed the clutch. I found a close match to the clutch discs (inside almost exactly right and outside a bit big) on-line and made them fit. I've been tilling and it's working ok so far.
