PTO seal- Ford 1700

Hello fellow tractor folks! Im looking for help locating the seal for my PTO. Does anyone know where to purchase this? Also what oil to refill with. Thank you in advance.

I just use regular hydraulic fluid from Tractor Supply (yellow bucket). Try Weavers, Southern Global, and ssbtractor.com

You're welcome. You can also do a search here for a specific thread on Ford 1XXX PTO seal and get more info. I seem to remember someone else doing a PTO seal recently.

messick website easier to goto... vs going to ford/newholland website Document Moved and getting to the parts section.

owners manual / operators manual = most likely what will tell you what type of oils to use along with check list of maintenance that needs to be done for changing oils / filters.

if you can get by with just "parts diagram" see above website links.

shop manual = tearing everything apart and checking things step by step, with much better diagrams. in how to do this or that in fixing / maintaining the tractor.
