Drips just enough to make a mess. Is replacing as simple as it looks like it would be, i.e. drive the front end down in a ditch, remove the top link bracket and remove the PTO seal cover?

Any special tricks to getting the old seal out?

Thanks.

Yes, not a problem. Not to loose oil just get the rear end as high as you can, the steeper the better. Had the same problem at about 800 hours. Maybe 30 minutes max if you are old and slow like me.

It is a 2 piece seal, make sure you get the inner piece off of the shaft , before you try to install the new one.
