Dumb question but, I need to remove the override clutch on my Ford NAA and I don't know how. I put the darn thing on about 6 years ago but I can't remember how it went on. I removed the set screw, but that didn't seem to do anything. Can someone shed a little light on my predicament. Thanks. Bill.

Yes, there is a pin which runs through the tractor's PTO shaft which holds the clutch on. Remove the zerk, rotate the clutch around until you can see the head of the pin, and then use a punch to hammer it out.

Thanks Joe, I didn't spend much time on it. I will punch the pin out first thing tomorrow. I'm going to use my NAA to spread fertilizer instead of my new NH. The pto shaft on the spreader will not fit with the coupler in place. Thanks again, Bill.

If you don't have a suitable punch, a 1/4" socket extention usually works good!
