PTO makes clicking noise

I have a DK55 that has set for several months. Got it started and had a problem with the ignition which seems to have been fixed now.

But now the PTO won't start, it makes a clicking noise like a dead battery.

I would have to say it's a switch,ignition sw dash switch or fender switch you should be able to eliminate the 3 PT lever SW if its in std PTO.
If they are OK I would check the connections on the wires.

I went out today after church and cranked it up. I made sure the PTO lever was in position and hit the PTO switch...and it started turning.

Weird, maybe I wasn't holding my mouth right.
