Mowing PTO Issue

I asked to get the bad part back. The service writer was unable to locate it, and I didn't have time to wait around for it.

Since I had previously put a multi meter on it, I knew it was bad. I did want to take a look at it, to see if there was some obvious defect.

I get it that the tractor is still under warranty, and you want to take advantage of it. but if you need the PTO to work in short order, the solenoid cant be much more than 100 dollar bill.

I checked the parts manuals that I posted on this thread. Your part number for the solenoid is the same as mine, 11102303200, you could order one from Mahindra, or any other tractor parts outlet, should be able to get Mahindra/TYM parts. Rural King (because they posted the manuals online) or possibly some other tractor parts outlet should be able to deliver right to you.

I would try placing a multi meter on it first. Put the meter in ohms, and check for resistance. If the resistance is close to zero its probably shorted.
