Rotary Cutter PTO extension - how do I get it off?

Well, today I learnt about a product called PB Blaster.

Thanks to Google I found out that it has nothing to do with washing off peanut butter.

I love PB Blaster and use the snot out of it. Non-greasy. Miraculously softens rust. Prevents future rust. I buy it by the gallon can.

I'm awestruck that I know something Wagtail doesn't. He has taught me many, many things!!!!

As to the problem at hand. I'm wondering if the problem is the button hasn't been in the correct position any time the attempt has been made to remove the yoke?? It certainly doesn't appear to have been on there long.

Everyone: I pushed in the button, pulled on the cutter shaft, and off it came! Thanks everyone for the excellent advice. I'm very appreciative.
