3-Point Hitch PTO Clutch

Hello guys, I have a question I need an answer to if you will. The Pto clutch engagement warning light on my dash comes on at random when I have the PTO engaged. According to the manuel, it should be on anytime the PTO clutch is engaged. I,m just curious if there is a problem I need to be concerned with since it only comes on at random instead of instantly when I engage the clutch. My tractor is an M 6800hst 4 wheel drive. Thanks

It sounds like a loose wire or bad sensor. Probably not a mechanical issue.
