Today I was mowing grass that was a bit heavyer than usual with a finishing mower. I noticed the mower sounded like it was slowing down. I checked and tightened the mower drive belt, but it made no difference. The tractor has an electrohydraulic PTO. I am now guessing the hydraulic clutch is slipping. Is this normal and if not can it be adjusted? Thanks

On pto clutches.. if it is hyd actuated.. you may have a leak in the engagement circuit.. if it is electric solenoid I doubt there is adjustment.... if it is mechanical, like a 2 stage clutch, your regular clutch adjustment will effect it.

This a mahindra?

Soundguy, yes it is electrically actuated. The owners manual calls it electro-hydraulic. The tractor is a McCormick GHX 45. I can tell I am going to have to buy a shop manual to get all the info I'll need for it.
