PTO BLOWS FUSE AFTER REPLACING DRIVE BELT ON LT 1042

I replace drive belt and reinstalled clutch and now when i engage pto it blows a fuse and cuts mower off. Clutch seemed to go back on without trouble. What is the problem. I need help quickly. I need to mow or just get some goats to take care of my yard.lol please help me, getting frustrated!

Did you pinch the clutch wire?

It's easy not to get the PTO retaining rod back into the correct notch. If the PTO twists it will pull on the wire and blow the fuse. I did this the first time I changed the PTO belt. Check the rod to make sure it is in the correct notch in the PTO.
