Mike I do remember reading your story. I couldn't respond to is as I felt too much pain just reading the story at the time. Glad you are still here with us to help other members to understand just how quick things can get out of hand when it comes to machinery.

Extremely sad story. I'm a machinist by trade and the first thing the "Old timers" told me as an apprentice were:

1) "MACHINES HAVE NO FEELINGS" and,
2) "GOD ONLY GAVE YOU ONE OF EVERYTHING. WHEN IT'S GONE,IT'S GONE! KEEP WHAT YOU HAVE.
