PT425 USED

Does anyone know where I can purchase a used Power Trac 425? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen one on e-bay and I saw two at a local landscaper. He wanted to sell them and by a bigger one, but couldn't get out of a loan deal to sell them. I've also heard that there is a waiting list for used equipment at Power Trac. You might want to call them and ask. 1-800-the-yard.

I have been looking for a used PT for over a year to no avail.
This is one very popular machine, which tells you of the quality.

At some point, I'll probably be looking to sell my old PT1418. My original intent was to buy it, use it to do all the landscaping that I intended to do at my house, then sell it. However, I'm not finished with it yet, so that'll probably be 6-12 months from now. There's always a chance that I'll decide it's simply too useful to sell, and decide to keep it, of course. It needed a lot of repairs when I bought it, but pretty soon every single thing that was wrong with it will have been fixed!

I don't know. That was back in November of last year. He kept trying to get out of it for several months, and I got tired of waiting, so I bought new. I then threw his number away. He was in St. Joseph, Michigan, about 35 miles from here. I just happened to see it when he was doing a job at a local convention center. That was also my first and only test drive before I was convinced what a great machine it was /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif.

I have been very surprised at the responses that I have gotten. I now have 3 PT422's, 3 PT425's, and a 1430 that I know are for sale. The owners are either looking to upgrade to a 1430 or are looking to replace what they have.

how did you find these pt owners? and after you have made your pick would you share the identity of them with us. we are working on getting a pt user net going with regional and national gttogethers.
