PT to Universal adapter?

I'm sure this has been discussed, but I can't seem to find the thread. Is there a company offering an aftermarket PT quick attach / universal quick attach adapter for a reasonable buck?...or are we better off to just make one.

I don't think anyone is selling one all finished. However, it's not too hard to put a PT plate on a universal adapter intended for CUT front end loaders.
ATI and others sell those.
I had one done by Steve Fisher, a prototype builder that Hans Luginbuhl (Bubenberg) works with in PA. Fortunately for me, Steve spent a while fitting, running the PT lift up and down and head scratching before he did the cutting and welding. It fits and doesn't interfere with anything.

The problem with using skidsteer attachments on a PT is simply their weight. Most of them weigh 50% or more of the T-8 series PT's lift capability. With a larger PT, it's not quite as much an issue, but it's still limiting...

Some skidsteer grapple buckets/root rakes can weigh 700 lbs, for example...

Some other attachments are far heavier!

You might think grafting additional lifting power on the PT would fix this problem, but then you must also consider that a skid steer also weighs a whole lot more than a PT. So there's no easy fix.

The "fix" is to make an adapter for the mini-loader implements that would fit the Bobcat MT-55, foir example, not the full-sized skidloader stuff.

Does anybody know if the Bobcat mini-loader attachments use the same plate as the Dingo attachments?

I also now see that Ditch Witch is making mini-loader tool carriers as well, and they claim to be Dingo compatible.

I was considering using it to attach bobcat attachments such as a root/rock grapple, but have decided to go ahead and have a PT quick attach put on the grapple instead. Since I have most implements I will ever need, I don't see a high likelihood of needing to search out bobcat stuff going forward...
