Does anyone know who makes the Power-Trac tiller.

I did find out that I can reverse the tines on the tiller. In normal mode, it turns in the fwd direction, and if you want reverse tilling, you reverse the machine while tilling. By reversing the tiller blades, I can reverse till in the fwd direction. Haven't done it yet but will try it.

Most of the replacement tiller blades are between $8 to $12, and case harden blades are a little more.

AFAIK, Power Trac makes all their own implements. It's not their style to farm stuff out. They even built their new showroom/sales/administration building themselves.

AFAIK = As Far As I Know. It is a common abbreviation on the net. I thought pretty much everyone posting here was familiar with it.

I have never used the phrase. Here I was trying to look up what looked like a foreign name. So much for effort. And of course I didn't find anything.

Well anyway, I hope you are not suggesting that PT cut and bent and sharpened those tiller blades. I am not thinking so. I was trying to find a match for the blades. The blade manufacture suggest I send them one, and they will try to match. Several of the blades I found were sharp on the front and back side.

If anyone finds a match please post the info.

I've had to look up acronyms many times here on TBN. I don't use them much. Anyone that text messages much knows tons of them. My kids tend to use them in conversation, which drives me nuts.

The tines on my tiller look to be the the same cuttin edge material they use on their buckets...just cut short and bent.
