Anybody in WA state considering ordering any attachments? They are 15% off until the end of the year.

Shipping of one attachment is $400. Shipping of 2 is $500. Anybody interested in piggy-backing off my order, could save a lot on shipping. I am in the general Seattle area, and will get PT to ship to the freight terminal in Auburn, WA.

This worked well for me when I bought my last implements and Clumber let me piggyback on his order, now I would return the favor.

Arghhhhhh Mulling over a flail mower... arghhh.. . wife won't release the purse strings...

15% off....

:D

Of course, if they were 15% off for the entire year, do we have a reason not to suspect they might do the same next year? Did they raise attachment prices at the start of 2015, and then start a 15% off sale (sort of like most furniture dealers do)? Or are they on the ropes for business?

EDIT: whoops. TSM class attachments are excluded from the sale. Sorry Carl, no 15% off for you... santa is skipping your house.

Steel prices are way, way down this year. China is on track to export 100MM tons of it, more than any other country has capacity to make, except Japan.

All the best,

Peter

true. But that doesn't necessarily mean PT has to pass their savings on to the customer.

My general impression is that the cost of PT equipment has not really increased in the last decade, as compared to the cost of everything else. Regardless, I have a tiller and a trencher on it way. I should have stopped by PT when I moved here from DC and added them to my trailer then...

If you look at the name of the forum this is posted in, you would see that we are in the "Power Trac" forum. Therefore, PT= Power Trac.
