PT Boom Mower / Mounted String Trimmer

Looking to see if anyone has ever made their own boom mower or a mounted string trimmer to fit their Power Trac. I have a 1000' foot of ditch that I try to maintain. Weed whacking is absolutely killing my back.

Mowing - Side Mower

I am starting to build a side mower. I believe this will be the hardest project I have taken on yet. It will most likely be 2 or 3 weeks before finishing. I will post more pics as progress permits but for now does anyone recognize this deck?

Didn't @Charlie_Iliff put a sickle mower on his, mounted on the side for ditches, and trimming trails (in the vertical position)? I remember it, but perhaps it was in a private email/post. I will lookin the archive. (I can't seem to find the post, but the TBN search is being a little flakey at the moment on his user name for some reason.)

Thanks. That is how I found it in the end, what is weird is that sometimes the local search thinks he is/was a member, and sometimes it doesn't.
