Good day everyone,

Could you review picture attached I got house done up at my local hydraulic store to be able to add a PSI gauge to the FEL valve and yesterday I got a leak at the elbow 90 deg and wondering if the T fitting is causing flow pressure to increase because the fitting are not the same size as the actual hose thank you all once again for your help...

Unless that elbow fitting has a reduced inside diameter it should not cause excessive pressure loss.

Is the leak out the threads or between the hose cover and elbow?

Is it a new 90 or did they cut the original hose and put the tee in it?

No it is not done right.

The tee fitting should replace the 90 at the valve, not in the flow.

It looks like the tee they added may have a smaller ID,

It looks like you cut the hose and put in the tee and now it's leaking at the elbow?

Fittings don't leak because of restricted flow, they leak because they're not sealing. I think it's coincidence that this fitting has started leaking, it was probably on the verge of leaking and you disturbed it.

The problem is that Jinmas use a metric ORFS fitting that is not available in the US. So you're not going to be able to get a tee that goes into the valve. The hose is available as an entire unit so the only way is to cut the hose and put more standard ends on the cut ends.

A too-small tee isn't going to cause leaks. However, since the entire hydraulic system is fed through that hose it will cause reduced responsiveness.

Cut original line and added T same elbow that was not touched

It does have a smaller ID... darn will do it again I may drill a new hole and tap that new hole

Trying to figure out how the guys at the hydraulic store added the tee without removing the elbow.

Did you take the tractor to them?
