REALLY?What does a lab have to do with a loaded gun?Funny chit keep them coming.PS -- I own a Brittany that I take hunting and she hunts so hard she knocks the fur off her front legs.I also have a loaded gun and I am right behind her just in case a bird flies up.LMAO.

I read that one also.....was about to write a response, but was laughing too hard. Went and sat on back porch with my dog instead. Some people atnt worth responding to. I guess we should lock up rubber balls to prevent puppies from hurting themselves.

I hear ya.I was trying to figure out what a dog vest had to do with kids and loaded guns with safeties.LOL

That may work for ordinary dogs but he has a Lab; the pup would destroy it in a day. :laughing:

I would also goggle GUN Dog Supply they make a dog vest called turtle skin snake vest which is pretty stout.The price is a little salty $192 bucks.

holy crap....i would have loved to have that for my old rottweilier Rocky.....he would have been tough stuff with that instead of the little marshmallow that he was.

I hunted my coon dogs for 10 years in some of the roughest territory in the USA, briars, brambles, thorns, you name it. The only bad injuries they ever got were snake bites and nutria bites under the neck because they always go for the jugular vein.

Their regular collars were roll-over collars but they also had tracking collars and sometimes shock collars and never got hung up.

her wounds have all healed up and heres a picture of her sporting her new Filson vest . it has quick release safety straps, doesnt cover too much area so she wont overheat and adds a bit of protection when were out in rough fields. will only need this when im out chipping and cleaning up forest in spring.

its already too hot to do any more forest work.

You've got that right, but we're already a week into August. Now she's all ready for the cooler weather which is just around the corner.
