Protective skid plate question

Thinking about building a skid plate for my 2720 to protect the bottom of my tractor. Something that would attach in place of the MMM using the same lift gear. Just looks like too many things under there that can be damaged when going through high bush. Anyone here ever done this? may be of help in pointing me in the right direction. Pics would help. ....Thanks in advance!
